REMINDER

Hi everyone, just to remind you we are NOT at the Mill next Weds 5th August, but return on the 12th,19th,26th.

Last night we made An art deco tri-fold card from the Tabbycat Art Deco cd. A Matt and Layered card using A glittered Peel off Flower, and A Moose in PJ's with decoupaged bunny slippers and bright coloured backing papers from the new Toffee Christmas Special Edition cd.

Teresa wasnt well so it left me and Chris who was also not feeling well, but the Ladies finished their cards and braved the awful weather for a few hours. It doesnt seem like over 3 years since I first started this club with Sharon initially, then Sharon ran it on her own for a while before passing it back to me again, Its nice to see that some of the ladies have been loyal from the very first week, and still come along for the company.

To all the New Ladies I hope you enjoy your Weds with us and continue to support the club for years to come.

Well the Concrete base is now laid and the cabins are arriving early by One Week, so the job of laying flooring and Coating the Cabins in Cuprinol soon begins,It seems like ages, I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

I'll be at the new place on Saturday 12 till 4 if you have anything to collect and we have the August Making Cards £3.75, Parchment craft mag £3.40,and the Creative Cardmaking (cant think offhand but about that price) if you need it, Until the phone line is put in we can only take cash .

Lastly to Chris and Teresa when you read this GET WELL SOON both of you and let me know what classes your doing when you get back from your holidays!!! IM GOING TO WINDOWSILL BAY this year!!!. xx Sue

Good News, We Should be open by the August Bank Holiday weekend ,Myself ,Chris and Teresa are looking forward to getting back to some sort of normality,With Both the Girls working hard to get a Workshop Schedule ready ,I'm sure they will both come up with some lovely classes for you to enjoy.

Thank you to the people who leave comments on this blog it is appreciated, and lets us know there is still life out there in Craftland.

Myself and Chris were at View Gardens yesterday for a few hours (sorting through boxes) and were amazed at the amount of people who asked us when we were opening, if we had a class list, and also if we needed staff!! We saw lots of new faces and if this is a taste of whats to come, then Thank you GOD it looks like we could be very busy.

Just something to make you smile...........
As you know I had my Gallbladder and stones removed in June, and what with us then moving at very short notice (4 days) we told as many people as we could that we were re-locating, However I understand that many of our customers have turned up at the Previous address and been concerned we have gone, In Fact Someone Actually went into the Pet Shop and asked if I had DIED!!!

(just to confirm I am ALIVE the op went well and whoever you were I'll buy you a tea/coffee at View gardens for making me smile).

Until next time Keep crafting, keep smiling, keep coming to Rayleigh Mill and Keep the AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY FREE .

NEWS

Making Cards Magazines and Parchment Craft are due to be delivered today so I have to stay in,
I will phone everyone who has them put by so they can be picked up.

Thank you to all our regulars at The Rayleigh Mill last night, you do make me laugh!! You should see your faces when we give you something new to try,(I may start asking Chris to Video it perhaps create and craft could learn from it)

If it wasnt for you ladies we would go bonkers just waiting for the new shop to open, you dont know how frustrating it is to look at packed boxes for weeks on end and not being able to find anything. We have been packed for 2 weeks and 2 days now and still got about 4 more to go.

The original plan was to transfer from shop to shop so there would be a continuation of service, but just goes to show how things change,Never dreamed we wouldnt be able to trade for 6 weeks,But our new Landlord is 100% on the ball and Legitimate to so we know the LONG wait will eventually be worth it. He has been extremely busy levelling our space for the New Shop to go on as well as expanding the garden centre even more,(only wish we had moved when we first got the offer 3 years ago).

Well bye for now I'm off to do the school run for the 29th YEAR I think it must be a Guiness book of records for school runs with YOUR OWN kids and yes Lewis still has a year to go to school so that will make it 30 YEARS as Nikki is 35 next March. Wow beat that.

Chris is also expanding her Computer classes and also she is pushing her Photography service, She does Weddings, Christenings, Proms, Retirements etc she also does the photos set to music on a dvd

Please call me or Chris or visit us at View Gardens for more info.

Lastly, I have heard today that Pulling on the Glitz is closed, PLEASE DO NOT GOSSIP OR GIVE BAD FEELINGS although we havent spoken of late my SINCERE WISHES go to Karen and all her staff at this very sad time, I can relate somewhat as we have been very close ourselves to throwing in the towel this past year. Let us all wish the Staff of Pulling on the Glitz and Karen all the very best for the future after all they were very successful over the last 12 years.
